[ He orders his oil, and yeah, it looks about as appealing as oil... does. Slimy, thick, brownish black goop. It also comes with a bright pink straw. He still observes Saitama, taking a small sip through his very small mouth port. His model style originally did need to consume oil to exercise certain higher leveled tasks, and so the processing units for the liquid are still in him... But with time, as it became unnecessary, mouth ports became smaller. Much harder to drink from. Straws help. ]

It is ... nice.

[ Something's bugging Saitama. Zenyatta knows, it isn't regret ovr his rude behavior. ]

... The Iris is not... exclusive. I believe you will find you are as welcome within the Iris as so many others.

It is called "caring," Saitama. I care for you, as I care for most.

[ Not all. ]

But is pains me when I can sense... certain things, about someone.

[ When they do not feel whole. ]

[He's not sure where he's walking, or weaving, to. Wherever the closest lights were to their current position, but hopefully there wouldn't be a lot of people. He's had a fill of crowds that night.

Hearing the word care makes him inwardly flinch. Not even Genos says that word, and he's weird. Zenyatta must be weirder.]

You're a weird guy, Zenyatta.

[ Yeah, guess Saitama's finally had enough of him... He won't follow after him this time. Bruh deserves some time away now, if that's what he wants. Still, he calls out: ]

Are we not all strange, in our own ways?

I guess so.

[He answers, but in a normal tone, assuming Zenyatta was still by him. Realizing he's not, he stops and looks back at him, eyebrow raised.]

You not coming with me?

[Zenyatta isn't as bothersome as a castle full of strangers.]

Ah...?

[ Oh, now that's not something he expected. ]

I assumed calling me weird and walking away was your way of expressing farewell.

[ But he'll catch up again. Slowly. ]

I would've said good bye.

[Duh, Zenyatta. How could you mistake someone abruptly walking as them trying to leave?

He waits till he's caught up again, then, stuffing cold hands into his pockets, starts walking again. After a few seconds of comfortable silence, he accuses:]

When you called me strange were you talking about how I'm bald at 25.

No. I have seen much younger humans as bald as you.

[ Babies. ]

And I have been bald since I was made.

...Is it that much of a worry for you?

You wouldn't get it, you're a robot.

[Out of all the conversations they've had this night, this is the subject that makes him sound annoyed. And thus like a petty jerk.]

...who's bald and younger than me?

[iomnic]

Human infants.

[ Yeah, he's decidedly not going to get upset if Saitama gets petty. ]

[Saitama can't believe what he just heard. It's so astounding, I can't describe his reaction in words, just in gif. He looks at you like this, Zenyatta, just like this:

[ Zenyatta laughs, and it sounds like jiggling bells and innocent delight, while he raises his hands. ]

I suppose you are right- as an omnic, I do not understand why this would upset you so much. I would think the very same of you with, or without hair.

Suppose you would.

[He stops glaring at you, but he shakes his head as he looks ahead as if thinking "get a load of this guy".]

Since you met me with hair already.

And did I say anything to you about it when I saw you without it afterward?

I didn't see you for awhile.

[Scratches deep into his ear then wipes it off on the scarf because it's not his so it's okay.]

You probably just forgot.

Anything I would forget would be a conscious decision I make to delete it.

Okay, so if I see you again tomorrow and you don't remember me I know I screwed up.

I also do not make it a habit to delete my memories on a whim. Even if I am upset with you for any reason, I would not see it as a fit reason to erase you from my mind.

[He doesn't say anything in reply, nor looks at him, but there's an obvious smile pulling at his lips hearing this. Someone to remember him in his life of perpetually being forgotten still pleases him, it was sort of like being recognized by Mumen Rider.

He notices they're getting closer to the lights he was heading toward, and recognizes it as the new little area that had been recently built. He had checked it out earlier, it had eggs, but that was all he knew about it. He heads towards it with more purpose, a slight grin still on his face.]

Ah?

Where is it we are going?

[ Since Saitama seems to know, and he certainly does not. ]

[He sort of . . . scampers forward, back in that gregarious mood after this nice reassurance. He's not quite under the influence of vodka anymore to be able to blame a happier disposition on it, really, but there was still enough of a hint of it in his system to keep him loose.]

I dunno, I saw it earlier! It had eggs in it, though, so I'm hoping we can eat 'em.

[He wasn't around for the whole squidge thing, and since he never checks any records or reads anything not comics, he doesn't know the eggs in there weren't nice, big chicken eggs.]

I am quite sure "we" cannot, but I am sure you can try.

[ The happy attitude is decidedly a better outcome than anything else, and so Zenyatta tries to keep up... kinda. He goes from "leisurely stroll" to "casual walk" pace.

It's only once he sees the egg he's going to realize that they are Not For Eating. ]

Why not? Why else would they have 'em?

[He stops at a clear window to try to peer in for the eggs. It was a really weird space to be holding them in, chickens usually don't live in deserts or jungle, but whatever.]

I cannot eat.

[ He meant it much more literally. ]

[Glances back at him, unimpressed.]
Oh, a sarcastic "we", I see.

Yes, the sarcastic "we." You are much too heavy. Lighten up.
