[ He's experimentally putting his arm inside. And as long as it's just arm it fits just fine! But it's the upper shoulder area that is generally problematic, due to how big it is ]
[ And then even the shoulder goes in. Genos looks surprised at how accommodating the sleeves are, but hey if that's the case... he stops being careful and wears it quickly. ]
No need for it
[ The sleeve is stretched quite tight around the shoulders, but since it's baggy elsewhere it's somehow works. Weird arm shape nonetheless ]
Sensei, now you're trying to use my mishap in wording against me. [ he touches the back of his head. Truth to be told, it does make him oddly content to know that he gets a special treatment, but saying that out loud, might not win him any points ]
I'm not. [He says in the slightly smug tone of someone doing just that to be a tease. He reaches across the table for his tea, still smiling.] Just making sure you know you're different.
[He tries to protest, suddenly embarrassed or something by the look on Genos' face. He sips his tea, eyes staring at the wall over the other man's sweatered shoulder.]
...is this getting a little hot over here? [ Could be, the scarf on Saitama, and then his own sweater, not to mention the kotatsu. That would explain the redness on Saitama's face. What else it could be? ]
Let me open a window for a moment. [ Genos gets off the table and to do what he exactly sad ]
I only have your health on mind. [ he answers, but that awkwardness? It's getting to him now. The student-teacher barrier got lifted for a moment and they just enjoyed each other's company without it. ]
[He knows, Genos, he knows. He just liked having the real moment and didn't want Genos return to being a weird student. He just smiles at him, placating.]
[He chuckles at his response to Rudolph, but turns his attention to the cakes, picking up a knife to cut into them, putting a slice of each on two plates for both of them.]
If there's nothing on we can just watch a kung-fu dvd.
[Saitama much prefers Kung fun movies to xmas movies, so this suits him fine. He gets up to go to his tiny collection, setting his plate down near the folded up futons. They faced the TV so he could lean back on them and watch. He gestures to Genos toward the futon, i vit in hI'm to lean.]

You're looking great!

Thank you for thinking of me. I'm honored to spend Christmas in your company.
[ the time sure flew by... he sips some more before adding another thanks, a little ashamed ]
And thank you for taking care of me after that... incident.

Yeah, it's nice spending it with someone, for once.
[His attention remains on Genos as he sips, but blinks and seems to come out of a reverie when Genos says that.]
Wh--oh, the eye thing? Of course, what else was I gonna do?
no subject
That's not what I mean! [ he protests, and wonder how to get out of this ] You're a hero, you help people, that's what you do.
[ a pause ]
I'm just glad you were there for me.

You think I treated you like some stranger I'd save?

I'll do my best to deserve it.
[ Gotta work hard, be the perfect student, etc ]

[He says, shutting his eyes as he takes a longer sip of tea, willing the red from his face away.]

Let's eat our cakes and watch movies, yeah?

I'll see if there is something interesting on TV. [ he turns it on, and is greeted with plush, talking reindeer ]
No.
[ And thus the changing channels begins ]

Kung-fu DVD it is.
[ Nothing against you, Christmas movies, but kung-fu movies sound a bit more interesting ]
