[ He orders his oil, and yeah, it looks about as appealing as oil... does. Slimy, thick, brownish black goop. It also comes with a bright pink straw. He still observes Saitama, taking a small sip through his very small mouth port. His model style originally did need to consume oil to exercise certain higher leveled tasks, and so the processing units for the liquid are still in him... But with time, as it became unnecessary, mouth ports became smaller. Much harder to drink from. Straws help. ]

It is ... nice.

[ Something's bugging Saitama. Zenyatta knows, it isn't regret ovr his rude behavior. ]

... The Iris is not... exclusive. I believe you will find you are as welcome within the Iris as so many others.

He shivers as the cold finally sets in on him, and he looks around.]

Where're you taking me, anyway? It's getting cold.

[Like it just suddenly got cold...]

Up this hill. To look out from it is beautiful. Also, I know you can handle a little cold.

You don't know nothing about me and temperature.

[Huff. But he doesn't insist to go back, because he's right, he can handle the cold. It's just very annoying. He continues to look pouty about it, until he happens to glance over at Zenyatta and practically jumps back in shock.]

Where'd that coat come from??

Oh, it was left there by the cats. They had m-made scarves and hats and gloves, as well, sss-scattered around outside. Perhaps we'll find you a nice hat along the way.

[ Almost at the top of the hill now... ]

Cats? What kinda cats make scarves? [As he plots along up the hill he reaches up and rubs his poor bald head.] A hat would be cool, though... [Pun maybe intended.]

Magic cats who talk, I would think.

[ Seriously, the talking magic cats making scarves is where the suspension of belief happens? As they continue to travel, in the snow ahead lays a scarf. Sorry, not a hat. ]

[Yes. He's fought and seen all sorts of things, but knitting cats is weird, don't judge him.]

...I'd like to meet them...

[Maybe sentient cats wouldn't hate him and he could pet them...

They stop at the scarf for the moment, and he frowns at it for not being a hat.]

Yeah, ok.

[He picks it up anyway and gives it a violent shake to get snow off it before wrapping it clumsily, messily around his neck.]

[ Why do you think talking cats means they still wouldn't hate him, Saitama you really don't know how cats work. ]

[ Normally, he's not one to fuss over how people wear their clothes, but he takes a moment to adjust Saitama's scarf so it's a little less sloppily put on. The way he had it before wouldn't have been very warm. ]

...Better, now.

[Being able to pet a cat without it going violent on him is his one pure dream, don't ruin it for him.

He lets Zenyatta fix his scarf, only his eyebrows lifting. Normally, he would bat him away making a comment about personal bubbles, but the screwdrivers are making him more lenient. Or he's okay with Zenyatta getting in it now for this purpose, especially now that his chin is all warm and cozy.]

[He shoots him a thumb's up and turns to continue up the hill.]

[ Eventually the get to the top, and it really is a wonderful sight. The sky looks nothing like their own should, but at least the trees remain a consistent normal thing, along with the snow. ]

Ah...

[ It's cold, sure. Kinda windy. But it's so peaceful, too. Maybe it's worth it. ]

[He crests the top with Zenyatta but doesn't quite get what the robot was showing him. He was probably expecting an animal or a bigger, cooler robot.]

Huh? What're we looking at?

[Please make him notice the beauty of nature, robomonk.]

Pure serenity, Saitama.

[ It's quiet. It's calm. Nothing is moving, except for the slight gust of wind to sift the snow around them. He's quiet for a while, eventually sobering up as the oil processes through his system. ]

We are on another world, in another dimension, brought here to travel across planets to stop conflicts... But some aspects of life will always remain the same. There will always be chaos. There will always be peace. There will always be fulfilment, and there will always be suffering.

[The booze can't process as quickly through Saitama's system, which was probably a good thing since it does seem to put him in a little more maudlin mood. He finally pays attention to the quiet nature around them, and even as he crosses his arms to tuck bare hands into his cozier armpits he doesn't lose Zenyatta's perspective.]

Yeah, I guess you're right...little less monsterous chaos than my world so far, but overall, yeah. [He pauses for a moment, then adds a little lowly:] ...It'd be nice to find fulfillment in all this.

You will not find fulfilment if you search for it. To search with desire will result in more emptiness than you started with.

[His brows furrow at this insight.]

That goes against anything I've ever been told.

[He's not being argumentative, but since a kid he was told to have goals and tats how you'd achieve greatness. He was never good at finding a goal in the first place, let alone achieving it--that is, until he achieved far too much.]

What were you trying to achieve, with that advice?

[ Because "getting a medal" and "achieving enlightenment" are two very different things. ]

Just...a life, I guess.

Life is not something that can be dictated by action and choices. You are a snowflake in the wind- at the whim of where life will take you.

Does a snowflake ever land in the wrong place?

[He complains, shifting and readjusting his hands under his arms.]

But that's easier said than done where I'm from.

Yeah. [His head ducks a bit, burying his face from nose down in the scarf, as if seeking comfort and warmth.] I'm not trying anymore, anyway, so I guess I'm doing what you said.

And yet, I still have the distinct feeling that you are not at peace. You are still not yet free from your attachment.
